STATEMENT OF FAITH
Christian doctrines or teachings are truths and facts firmly rooted in the Word of God. These principles build maturity and stability into Christ's disciples, thereby buffering change by impulse. For a man to profess being a believer in Christ, there are some basic doctrines of the Bible they should believe:
The virgin birth of Christ (Isa 7:14, Matt 1:18–25)
The divinity of Jesus Christ (1 Tim 3:16, 1 John 5:7–8)
The crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus (Jn 19:17–18,30; Lk 24:25–31)
The second coming of the Lord in the flesh (Acts 1:9–11; Rev 22:12, 20)
You cannot be a Christian if you do not believe in any of the points above.
Apart from these fundamental doctrines of the faith, there are others referred to as the fundamental principles of Christ (Heb 6:2):
Repentance from dead works (Acts 2:27–38)
Faith towards God (Heb 11:6, Mark 11:22)
Doctrine of baptism (Matt 28:19–20, 1 Cor 1:12–13)
Laying on of hands (1 Tim 5:23, Acts 19:6, Acts 9:17–19, Acts 13:1–3)
The resurrection of the dead (1 Cor 15:1–19, 1 Thes 4:13–18, Rev 20:4–5)
Eternal judgment (1 Cor 5:10, Rev 20:10–15)
However, there are other doctrines that people hold on to in various circles, but they are not critical to salvation:
Church doctrines – vary by church based on revelation to the sent man (1 Cor 7:17–19, 12; 1 Cor 11:1–15)
Doctrines of men (Eph 4:14, Col 2:22, Titus 1:14)
Doctrines of demons (1 Tim 4:1)
