Founder Bishop Paul Mwaniki
Pst. Hildah Mwaniki
Pastor Paul Mwaniki is an ordained minister of the gospel and General Overseer of Glory Christian Church International headquartered at Zion City, Nanyuki, Laikipia County, and has branches across the nation of Kenya.
By God’s grace, he has the mandate to raise responsible Christians by transforming lives through prophetic preaching of the Word. This mandate gave birth to Zion City—a Christian Community Transformation Model that employs the Seven Mountains of Influence concept to transform communities through Kingdom culture.
Bishop Paul & Pst. Hildah Mwaniki
He is married to Pastor Hildah Mwaniki and they are blessed with three children: Emmanuel, Grace and Prince. His prophetic and dynamic ministry has been a blessing to many in Kenya and other nations of the world.
Bishop Paul Mwaniki is also the author of several impactful books:

He is also a life coach, televangelist, and a mentor to many around the world.

Midweek Services
These include Home Bible Churches and the School of the Supernatural held every Thursday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. This session serves as a powerful outreach ministry open to all.
Sunday Services
Every Sunday, we conduct two spiritually enriching services:
- PEP Service (Prophetic, Effective, and Productive): 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- Main Service: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Zion City
The purpose of Zion City is to reach the community with the love of Christ through various community focused programs which are then to transform lives; it is a complex where all people come to be impacted spiritually (including people of other faiths) and expressing the love of Christ in a different way.
The dream of Zion city was envisioned in 2012, as captured in the 7 mountains of influence. The Founder looked at the future of the church and what has made mainstream churches powerful and resilient over years. He realized that God cannot entrust a person with community resources without a community assignment.
Therefore Zion City is a Christian model of reaching the community with the love of Christ by transforming lives according to Matthew 25 and James 1. It is a part of GCCI which is based in Nanyuki. The church exists for the purpose of Christ, other activities are just a supportive means to the great commission. GCCI should simply be viewed as GCCI’s arm for community outreach.
